If there’s one thing I’ve learned about indie publishing, it’s that success isn’t overnight—it’s a slow burn, much like a well-written romance. And in India, where Kindle Unlimited isn’t as widely used as in the US, the path to making money as an indie author comes with its own unique set of challenges.
When I first started publishing, I thought having a book on Amazon was enough. Write, publish, wait for sales. Simple, right? Wrong. Marketing is half the battle, and the way books sell internationally vs. in India is drastically different.
