The Lore Of AnnieStoryTeller

It was the year 2010.

My sister had just gotten married. She was gone.

I was used to her coming home as and when she pleased.

But this time it felt different. It was different.

She didn't belong to me anymore. She was her own person.

And I needed to do something...anything to keep myself occupied.

With the extra time between term breaks. I knew people shared their stories on Wattpad. But I didn't want to do that.

Don't ask me why. 2010s Aniesha was an idiot. If I had gotten onboard the Wattpad train back then, things would perhaps be very different for me right now. But I have no regrets.

Since high school I used to write fanfiction under the penname, AnnieStoryTeller. I decided to keep using it to write original fiction too. Thus, was born The Strange Proposal - fondly known as The Secret Proposal.

Eventually, I stopped writing on Fictionpress and cleared out from that corner of the website. Besides there's some bug on it... sigh Because while Wattpad thrived, Fictionpress didn't follow in its footsteps.

Today, countless other sites are willing to let aspiring authors and established authors write their stories...host part of them behind paywalls, and just grow a community of readers.

Maybe that's why I decided to start writing serial fiction again. I loved updating stories chapter by chapter. And being paid to tell stories to the world - that's the dream, isn't it? :)

So, if you have been following my work since 2010 or after, welcome. I'll try and keep as many stories as possible FREE. But in return, please do share your feedback. I don't think there's any end to learning. And I want to try new genres...

So wish me luck!

Until next time,

Annie!
